HBH102 - Pet Lovers Bag
This bag began as a personal quest for a functional sized tote bag. Being pet loves and inspired by our own pets, we decided to add some interest by designing a whimsical cat and dog for our bags. After completion, several people inquired as to where they could get one and so we embarked on the construction of our first pattern. The bag has a large outside back pocket and deep divided pockets inside. It would make a great gift for any pet lover in your life.

HBH103 - Munch a Bunch
This bunch of animals loves to munch!; therefore the name. Each animal is at the table with his favorite snack laid out in front of him. All kids, young and old will get a kick out of these characters. It is a machine appliqué pattern using a combination of blanket stitch and satin stitch. Included is a colour sheet with the blueberries, corn and bark that can be transferred onto a fabric sheet, if you prefer, or they could be cut from your desired fabrics. This quilt is lovely done in batiks but would be eye catching in any color tones. Finished quilt 45 ½ x 52 ½.

HBH104 – Mom & Me-At the Zoo
Any child would love this bright and cheery wall hanging made up of nine colourful Zoo babies and their Moms. Use your imagination to create it in bright colours like the pattern, pastels, and batiks or make it up in authentic animal prints for a totally different look. Included in the pattern are the instructions for a matching tote bag; or make it into a pillow - just choose your favorite block and away you go! Transport yourself to the Jungle and walk along with these wonderful animals all “Walking for a Cause”. Although originally designed as a comfort quilt for cancer patients and survivors; we realized that there are walks for a variety of worthy causes, and most people are touched in one way or another by these horrible diseases. Therefore we decided to simply name it ……Walk for a Cause. This way the quilt would encompass all of the above.
This quilt is appealing to anyone of any age with a sense of whimsy and fun. The variety of shoes will bring a smile to all. Finished size 51” x 77”

HBH106 Mom & Me - Baby Steps
2nd pattern in the Mom & Me series. Baby steps was inspired by the Jungle Walk pattern; the same Moms are now portrayed with their babies instead of wearing shoes. This bed topper/wall hanging would make a wonderful gift for that special child in your life, for an expectant mom, a new mom, a grandma, an auntie, or other special person deserving of such a gift. It will truly become a family heirloom.
The delightful assortment of jungle friends will surely elicit a smile, even to the likes of Oscar the Grouch! The babies are venturing out for the first time under the watchful eye of their Moms. It is machine appliquéd and machine pieced. Finished size 51” x 77”.

HBH107 - Energized Bunnies
These bunnies are working off some of their excess energy by participating in their favorite sports activities. No sitting in front of the TV or computer for them! There are too many new things to do and try.
If you prefer a smaller quilt, perhaps geared to just girls or boys, you could achieve this effect by choosing seven blocks and insert your favorite bunnies. By changing clothing colours you can create your desired gender. Alternatively you may want to take one of the bunny designs and create a single wall hanging, (tote bag or cushion) as depicted on the pattern cover. Wall hanging 52½” x 68½” Twin quilt 65” x 81”.

HBH108 - Doggy Daycare
Attention all dog lovers! This pattern was created just for you. Make this wall hanging for a child’s wall, veterinarian, groomer, shelter, breeder, school, or any other animal lover. This motley crew is on the school bus headed for a day of fun and games! Your own pooch can come on board, if he/she is not already there. Simply make a few color/design alterations, and voila! As you can see, poor little Doxie forgot to set his alarm and has missed the bus!
Narrow black bias is used to define the bus and full instructions for constructing the bus curves are included in the pattern. It is machine appliquéd with blanket/satin stitch and can be embellished with an assortment of tags and buttons as desired. All animal and accents are full size. Finished size 40” x 70”.

HBH109 - Kitty Kamp
Who doesn’t love their kitty! These kittens come in all shapes, sizes and breeds. Take a close look and you may recognize your own cat perched somewhere on the school bus! If not, you could bump another passenger and give your kitty a seat on the bus by simply making some minor colour adjustments. Ragdoll is walking proud with his catch of the day!

Five adorable little girls are playing in the garden of friendship among the heart shaped flowers with their favorite pets in tow. Whether your little princess likes to be pretty in pink, rough and tumble in blue jeans or dressed in her favorite Sunday best, she will love this quilt with the sun peeping through the clouds, dragonfly and birds in the sky and lady bug on the grass. What a great gift for that special girl to cuddle with or to hang on her wall.

HBH111 - Walk, Run, Ride for a Cure
Image a sunny afternoon on a path among the hills and trees as Mr. Dog walks his cat on a leash with walking stick in hand, while Kangaroo Mom is happily running in her converse sneakers with Baby in tow. The Tortoise and Hare are riding side by side in a joint effort to bring awareness for a cure, as that was our inspiration for this quilt. Look among the flowers and you will find a squirrel with an acorn, a frog peeking out from behind the daffodils and Mr. Mouse holding the ‘Finish’ sign at the end of the race. This colourful quilt is enhanced by balloons, butterfly, sun and clouds. Each block is constructed separately so you may want to choice your favorite animals and make a single wallhanging.

HBH112 - Dancing With The Stars
For some time we had toyed with the idea of creating a wallhanging depicting a diverse group of children dancing. This vision evolved over time of these children dancing in a sky full of stars. Since they would need wings to fly, they became angels. Because of the pattern theme, the name of the pattern was a no- brainer, given the popularity of the Hit TV show “Dancing with the Stars”. It is a machine appliqué project depicting five diverse angels among a sky of stars. We also thought that it would make an adorable Christmas project, so the single angel wallhanging was made using Christmas fabric with seasonal accessories.

HBH114 - Quilting Babes
Can you picture this quilt hanging on the wall of your sewing room. Wouldn’t it make a fabulous gift for yourself, one of your quilting buddies or a budding quilter. Personalize it by changing hair and dress colours. Go with your own creativity!! Embellish as much or as little as you like, even down to the painted fingernails. This pattern includes directions for the pieced nine-patch quilt as well as machine appliqué techniques. The “Babes” are finishing the final details on their quilt and about to celebrate with a cup of cheer.

HBH115 - Ribbons of Hope
Inspired by the multitude of people courageously battling against the many forms of cancer, we decided to create this wallhanging /tote bag to honor them. Each project depicts a whimsical creature sporting the symbolic ribbon design. We chose to represent the pink ribbon for breast cancer for our samples as it is a cancer that is rampant and has affected each of our lives. The butterfly is actually called “Butterfly of Hope”. Omit the corner ribbons and just make a tote bag or wallhanging. However, these patterns can be adapted and personalized to represent an assortment of causes, simply by changing the color of the ribbons, and possibly even the color of the creatures themselves. What a wonderful gift of hope for those struggling with the disease, for supporters of the cause or a gift of celebration for survivors.

HBHBH201 - Autumn by the Old Mill set against a warm and brilliant colour palette of fall splendor. This wall hanging was constructed from a photograph and inspired by a quilt challenge depicting the theme “On the Rideau” Lakes in Ontario, but it could be any mill on any lake. Draw from your stash of greens and fall colors to create this eye catching landscape. Batiks are wonderful fabrics for landscape quilting. Included in the pattern is a full-size, color-coded pattern with layering and sequencing instructions. The wall hanging is machine appliquéd with blanket and satin stitching. If desired, embellish with thread painting and crayoning to give it depth. Finished size 28” x 31”.

A serene picturesque wall hanging in muted tones, depicting the familiar sights of cottage country ….. animals, wildflowers, weeds and grasses.
This is an original design featuring 10 inch blocks. The center block in this pattern is also a 10 inch block on point. Do you have orphan 10 inch blocks you don’t know what to do with? This pattern is for you. It is machine appliquéd using blanket stitch. Mitered inside and outside corners on the binding complete this wall hanging.

This queen size quilt consists of five color palettes from one collection. Each colour palette has five coordinating patterns. The fabrics pictured are by Nancy Halverson. The blocks are cut 4 ½”. Bring summer into your home or set a different tone with jewel tones, primary colours or any combination you can dream up. Any other collection or pleasing colour combination of your choice will result in a stunning version of this pattern. Machine pieced with decorative machine appliqué in the four corners adds to the charm of this quilt.
